Answer:
The tariffs imposed by the Trump administration created challenges, particularly for manufacturers sourcing materials from China. It forced many of us to rethink our supply chain strategies. At The Idea Smith, we shifted some of our sourcing to other regions, diversified our partnerships, and adopted more localized manufacturing processes. We also focused on adding value through design innovation and sustainability, which allowed us to remain competitive despite the higher tariffs.”
